AOP Sancerre

Domaine Alban Roblin 2017

€500 Flacon de 10cl

This dry white wine has a pronounced nose with intense notes of pink grapefruit and lime zest with slightly floral undertones. The citrus character shows through on the palate of this Sancerre too, with a beautiful balance between acidity, fruit and freshness. For spring, pair this wine with grilled sardines or mackerels. The freshness of the Sancerre will complement the oily character of these fish perfectly.

Winemaker

Alban Roblin

Alban Roblin began producing his own wines in 2010, alongside his parents at the 12-hectare family estate and is perpetuating with passion the Roblin tradition for quality. The domaine is located in Sury-en-Vaux (meaning «Smile in the valley»), in the Cher region of the central Loire Valley. Alban and his family take a particuliar care to the vines. Out of respect for nature and the environment, grass is allowed to grow on most parcels. The soils are cultivated in a way to preserve biological activity which is essential to the production of quality grapes.
