AOP Saint-Estèphe

Château Beau-Site 2015

€760 Flacon de 10cl

Here we bring you a deep cherry red coloured wine with a pinkish rim. The nose has a spicy side, with aromas of tobacco, licorice and cedar to add. On the palate, the wine is supple and full with an extremely elegant yet structured style. This opulent Saint-Estèphe with harmonious tannins reveals mentholated notes of tonka bean and almond for a delicious finish.

At the northernmost point of the Haut-Médoc, the vines of the Sainte-Estèphe appellation cover a plateau overlooking the Gironde. Domaine de Beau-Site is among the oldest estates of this highly reputed wine-producing commune, and its vineyard slopes gently down towards the Gironde. The estate, which has belonged to the Borie-Manoux family since 1955, produces extremely well-made, classically elegant wines.
