AOP Pomerol

Château La Rose Figeac 2016

€840 Flacon de 10cl

Pomerol, near Libourne, is one of the most prestigious appellations on Bordeaux’s right bank, and an exceptional winegrowing area despite its small size. The nose of this Pomerol is intense and minty with notes of cherry and spices, including a hint of sweet pepper alongside delicate violet end-notes. On the palate, a deliciously round sensation leads into a generous and full-bodied mouthfeel. The finish of this Pomerol is nicely textured with a lovely roasted side, and beautifully long. Fruitiness and texture are perfectly balanced in this wine.
