AOP Petit Chablis

Domaine de la Motte 2016

€420 Flacon de 10cl

Discover an elegant and fruity wine with a brilliant gold color. This Petit Chablis from Domaine de la Motte has a superbly rich nose with notes of very ripe fruit such as apple and pear, along with a hint of vanilla and caramelized aromas. This dry white wine with beautiful minerality will go perfectly with fish dishes like seabass in beurre blanc or sole meunière which will make the wine seem softer.

Adrien Michaut

Situated in Beine, near Chablis in Burgundy, Domaine de la Motte is a family-run wine estate that has been passed from father to son since 1950. Today, Adrien, Bernard and Guillaume Michaud work as a team to produce high quality wines from their 28 hectares of vineyards. The vines of this Petit Chablis grow on Portlandian soil. It is a limestone-rich soil with very little clay which produces supple wines that are more fruity than mineral.
