€790 Flacon de 10cl

This Pauillac with a deep cherry red colour and bright pinkish-red rim has an undeniable charm. Let its fruity cherry aromas, oak and spices carry you away. The mouthfeel is supple, full-bodied and delicious, combining power and elegance to a tee. When served with the D-Vine, the coffee and caramel character of this sophisticated wine comes through.

Claire Villars-Lurton

Classified as a fifth growth Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Château Haut-Bages Libéral enjoys an excellent terroir as you can see from its prestigious neighbours, the Château Latour and Château Pichon Baron. This Pauillac takes its name from the Libéral family – the wine brokers who established the château in the 18th century – and from the plateau of Bages, an area known for its many winegrowing estates. Château Haut-Bages Libéral has been the property of the Villars-Merlaut family since1982 and is today run by Claire Villars-Lurton. Since 2000, Claire has been in charge of the wine, arguing strongly for an approach favouring elegance and refinement.
