AOP Madiran

Château Montus 2014

€595 Flacon de 10cl

Prestigiously nicknamed the 'Pétrus of the Southwest', Château Montus is a perfect reflection of the Madiran appellation. The almost black colour of this wine and concentrated aromas are superb. The nose combines blackcurrant, blackberry and sweet cherry with notes of roasted coffee beans, while remaining beautifully fresh. The palate has good intensity, too, with a full-bodied mouthfeel and a spicy character. Great structure backs up the deliciously rich fruit in this wine, making it truly delightful to drink
