Winemaker

Julien Guillot

Planted by the monks of the Abbey of Cluny in 910, Clos des Vignes du Maynes is one of the rare vineyards to have never been subjected to any use of chemicals. After having been the property of the Lords of the Château de Cruzille, the estate then belonged to five generations of farmers, before being bought by Pierre and Jeanne Guillot in 1952. Their grandson Julien Guillot is now in charge. Like his grandparents, he constantly strives to improve the quality of the wines while showing the greatest respect for the land.
