Winemaker

Bernard Duseigneur

Hailing from a family of winemakers, Bernard Duseigneur reconnected with his roots in 2002 to take charge of Domaine Duseigneur and continue his father’s and brother’s work. Five years later, Philippe Faure-Brac – elected the world’s best sommelier in 1992 – became a partner in the business, bringing great precision in the choice of blends and wines. Domaine Duseigneur has the advantage of having vineyards on both sides of the Rhône – in Lirac to the right of the river, as well as in the legendary Chateauneuf-du-Pape appellation on the opposite side. The entire estate was converted to biodynamic winegrowing in 2002. The Domaine Duseigneur team works devotedly day in, day out with the ambition of producing outstanding wines that respect the natural living ecosystem and terroir.
