Domaine Cauhapé 2018

€700 Flacon de 10cl

Symphonie de Novembre is a sweet and lively wine produced from the first selection of late harvested Petit Manseng, picked in November. On the nose, you can find pineapple notes enveloped in beeswax and honey. The palate reveals a rich and full bodied mouthfeel, with notes of yellow fruits and orange peel. This is a sweet and beautifully balanced wine that leaves a truly fresh sensation.

Winemaker

Henri Ramonteu

Originally from a farming family, Henri Ramonteu gave up everything in 1988 to begin making wine. After expanding his vineyard year upon year, this intuitive and genuine winemaker today cultivates some 40 hectares of vines. With his extremely late-harvested sweet white wines, for which grapes are sometimes picked after January 1st, Henri Ramonteu has shaken up the world of Jurançon winemaking and helped to restore the reputation of the Petit Manseng grape.
