États-Unis - AVA Sonoma County

Seghesio Estate 2017

€880 Flacon de 10cl

This wine takes us to Sonoma, north of San Francisco, to discover California’s famous grape, Zinfandel. On the nose, this wine is fruity with red cherry notes verging on cherry jam. The warm winegrowing climate brings a touch of pepper, cocoa and roasted coffee to this beautifully ripe wine. On the palate, it has a superbly rich body. With its flavours of stewed verging on candied fruits and beautiful freshness in the finish, this is a truly balanced wine.

Over the years, the Seghesio family has established itself as one of the most respected and renowned producers of Zinfandel. In 2003, a dedicated winemaker with an insatiable desire for discovery and craftsmanship joined the estate. Andy Robinson strives to create wines that blend the tradition of generations past with innovative techniques.
