AOP Condrieu

Domaine Georges Vernay 2017

€1520 Flacon de 10cl

For a completely spellbinding experience, look no further than this brilliant lemon coloured wine. On the nose, it reveals exquisite floral notes, like old rose and peony, as well as a fruity side. The palate shows finesse and elegance, with the floral character of the nose accompanied by hints of spice. This is a very nicely balanced Condrieu with beautiful length, complexity and pureness.

Winemaker

Christine Vernay

Domaine Vernay is a family-run wine estate which has passed from one generation to the next since 1940. Today, Christine Vernay, the third generation, is in charge of caring for and cultivating the terroir. Formerly a teacher at ENA (the French national school of Administration), Christine took over from her father in 1996, returning to the hillsides on which she grew up. Through hard work and commitment, she has raised the celebrated estate that her father left her to the top of the podium. As an outstanding winemaker, Christine Vernay is a member of the Académie du Vin of France and the International Academy of Wine (AIV). Her wines are recognised among the finest and some have been awarded the famous 100/100 score.
