AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Domaine de la Graveirette 2015

€600 Bottle of 10cl

Nestled between Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmiral mountain chain in the heart of a Provençal village lies the 100% biodynamic vineyard of Julien Mus. Here, Mus produces a Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a deep cherry red color and beautiful hints of coral. The nose is rich, combining notes of cherry, undergrowth and roasted coffee beans with floral peony-like undertones. The mouthfeel is supple and full, with flavors of cocoa, licorice and spiced flavors in the mid-palate. This is an elegant wine with very nice length.

Winemaker

Julien Mus

After having completed studies in viti-oenology, Julien Mus began cultivating vines. In 2005, he decided to produce his own wines with his wine cellar in a former agricultural hangar in Sarrians. As the third generation of his wine family, Julien Mus inherited plots of land from his father. He subsequently expanded the size of his vineyard on the plains and on the hillsides (8 acres). Julien Mus has succeeded in promoting his passion and skills.
