AOP Cahors

Château du Cèdre 2016

€550 Flacon de 10cl

Referred to as 'liqueur of fire' by the French Renaissance poet Clément Marot, the famous red wines of Cahors belong to a centuries-old tradition. This Cahors from Château du Cèdre has a beautifully dark colour with a purply rim. The nose has intense roasted aromas of coffee and toast, accompanied by notes of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is firm in texture with an extremely fruity and full-bodied palate, ending on an oaky finish. This full and richly fruity wine will be a fine partner for your most sophisticated culinary creations.
