AOP Cahors

Château du Cèdre 2015

€500 Flacon de 10cl

Referred to as 'liqueur of fire' by the French Renaissance poet Clément Marot, the famous red wines of Cahors belong to a centuries-old tradition. This Cahors from Château du Cèdre has a beautifully deep black cherry color with a raspberry rim. Intense raspberry and cherry aromas with a slightly minty hint of pepper dominate the nose. On the palate, the wine is firm in texture with an extremely fruity and full-bodied palate, ending on an oaky finish. This full and richly fruity wine will be a fine partner for your most sophisticated culinary creations.
