AOP Bourgogne

Domaine Camu Frères 2019

€550 Flacon de 10cl

The perpetuation of family traditions is the secret of success of the Domaine Camu wine estate. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir, this red Burgundy has a brilliant ruby colour and a pale pink rim with a delicate nose of kirsch aromas. On the palate, the wine is round and fruity with a supple texture. Peppery notes and vivacity in the finish make this a wine with great energy.

Philippe Rossignol

This 15-hectare estate at the foot of the ‘Colline Eternelle’ was bought by the Camu brothers in 1999 then taken over by the Baron Patrick de Ladoucette in 2008. In order to produce fruity, terroir-driven wines that express the full potential of the Vézelay area, he keeps yields low and employs traditional winemaking methods. The Jurassic limestone vineyard slopes are fully south-facing and give excellent quality wines.
