AOP Bandol

Domaine La Suffrène 2020

€620 Flacon de 10cl

We’re taking you to Provence with this beautifully coloured Bandol rosé with its slightly coppery rim. In terms of aroma, it has marzipan along with notes of peach, almonds and spices. This is a full, rich and opulent wine with a rather supple mouthfeel and spiciness in its flavours. The finish displays notes of citrus for a touch of bitterness that nicely counterbalances the opulence of the opening palate. This perfectly balanced Bandol is a wine you can’t fail to love.

Winemaker

Cédric Gravier

Cedric Gravier never had any doubts about his vocation for wine. His career path appeared to him after graduating from high school and traveling to the United States. Upon his return from the United States, Cédric Gravier began learning about winegrowing in Aix, and was helped a lot by his grandparents who had some vineyards in the vicinity of their village. It was in 1996 that he decided to take over the vineyard on his own and only at the age of 23.
